One of my favorite things about weddings is that no two are ever the same. E&M filled every playlist with Frank Sinatra because those songs feel like home to them, like dancing in their kitchen together, like growing up together. They swapped a champagne tower for a Diet Coke tower because that’s just their thing. And when the sun started to set, they left the party for a few minutes to run through the grass together and soak in their very first evening as husband and wife. Their family & friends looked on, chanting “Kiss!!! Kiss!!!” as Emily giggled through every pose and Michael jokingly rolled his eyes at every silly comment from the guests. But this is why I love weddings so much. We’re celebrating you, exactly as you are. We’re celebrating the things you love, and the people that love you. And that can’t be duplicated by a trend on Tik Tok or copied from one wedding to another. Your wedding is unmistakably yours, and we get a front row seat.
